One whole year!!!

The boys are ONE today!! ( I had good intentions on the 24th 😜) I've been reflecting a lot this week from being put in the hospital on June 22, thinking I'd be 'living' in the hospital for the next 6 weeks, to being rushed to the OR just two short days later to deliver.  (Austin didn't know how to wait from the beginning of life 🤣) I've been thinking about how little the boys were, how I had no idea how we were going to handle this, how can they survive this little? The amount of machines hooked up to them was terrifying. In case you've forgotten, this is Michael And here is Austin Michael had surgery in June and handled it like a champ!  Now I have two healthy, funny little men who are keeping me on our toes even more than before!  As of July 1 -They are both scooting and crawling isnt far behind -We are officially done with formula!!!! -Their favorite food is spaghetti -Austin is still Roczen's favorite -Both love standing wit...

10 months!!!

We are 10 months old tomorrow and we have learned a lot in the past month! We go to the doctor on Wednesday for our "9 month" check up. So we aren't sure how much we weigh! We are sitting up on our own! Only a little wobbly! We are also obsessed with rolling and working on scooting to get around. We can pull out knees up under our butt, but aren't crawling YET. Mommy says she is okay with that 🙃 Michael Definitely not the little brother anymore! Has 2 teeth Will not stay on his back Says Daddy when he wants to Gets so excited for food he literally shakes 🤣 Always smiling Determined to pull Roczens tail Daddy's twin Austin Loves to stand Can wiggle around to whatever toy he wants. No teeth yet but they are so close to coming in. Obsessed with buckles!! Mommy's twin, facial expressions and all. Here are some random pictures from the past month

We got a new stroller and we love it!!! Went to the park for the first time! Mommy tried...this was as good as it got 🤦‍♀️🙃 Roczen just loves snuggles!

8 months!

8 months old!  This month we've... -started eating meals for dinner were a fan of everything EXCEPT green beans so far. -almost able to sit up on their own (still a little wobbly sometimes) -wearing 9 month clothes and size 3/4 diapers Michael: -loves copying you -SOO close to rolling from back to belly -totally an investigator and watches things to figure out how to use it  Austin: -Has learned to pop his lips  -always the first to wake up -happiest baby in the morning -Roczens best friend  -still has RBF 😂

7 months!!

We are 7 months old now! Our personalities have totally changed since we came home from the hospital!  Austin 14lbs 12 oz  24 inches Michael 14lbs 13 oz<-- first time he's been the bigger brother! 23.5 inches  Both : 🔵Tried carrots! Michael is all about them, Austin is unsure how he feels.  🔵Can ALMOST roll from back to belly 🔵Love making sounds. Michael is a total ham and little flirt. He has the chunkiest cheeks and is always smiling. He is also so close to being able to sit up on his own. Austin loves sit up with assistance. He also has total RBF...wonder where he gets that from 🤔. He also is a bit more of a snuggler lately, which momma doesn't mind.  I say this all the time but how did we get so blessed?? From 2 lbs to 15 in a few months. They are developmentally 4 months but are performing at 7 month.

Life got in the way!

Just realized I didn't share the boys 6 month updates... frankly I'm not sure if anyone is following our story anymore. But, that's okay this has become a baby book for me to remember what is going on. Our first Christmas morning ! of course Roczen had to match too Christmas Day at our MeeMaws really wore us out! We had our first sickness and real fevers. COVID of all things but thankfully neither boy were super sick. Michael got the worst of it with a high fever and only wanted snuggles. Austin is learning he has feet to play with! Tummy time is going WAY better especially because Grandma Sandy got us some cool toys to play with. Austin has been practicing his facial expressions... Please tell this kid isn't mine haha

December so far!

I know I've been WAY behind on posting updates. I went back to work after Thanksgiving and it has been crazy since then. These boys are constantly keeping us on our toes!! We got to meet Santa and both boys loved him!  We got our second round of shots to help prevent RSV Austin   -Finally rolling over from belly to back! -Doesn't mind tummy time (usually) -"Talks" all the time -loves smiling and laughing -has discovered his hand and is obsessed with staring at it 🤣 - 12 lbs 13 oz  -definitely more fussy than Michael now -still the bigger brother but Michael is right behind him Austin laughing   Michael -happiest baby 99% of the time -loves smiling -still loves tummy time -talks some  -12 lbs 4 oz -still looks exactly like Philip -rolls over alllllll the time -sucking his thumb is a new favorite when he is sleepy and every time we catch him he laughs
